Our weekend in Guelph

Friday, Shane did his last exam and has finished his summer courses. He did fabulous! After that, we loaded up the dogs and the van and headed to Guelph for the weekend. We stayed with Mike and Rochelle and our darling Annika.

At first she made a little strange with us. And then she had her feeding tube in her nose replaced and it was pretty horrible. After she finally calmed down, she was happy the entire weekend. We had so much fun with her.
Saturday, we did a few stops to pick up stuff from Freecycle and Kijiji. Pheonix had found me a steel cane in case I should need one in the future. We picked up some magazines for her too. She came with us to get what was suppose to be a hamster cage but turned out to be a homemade rusty cage made out of chain-link fence. I don't know what size of hamster this person had in mind. LOL
Afterwards, we headed to Walmart to pick up a few things for Austin for school as Pheonix still is waiting for Child Tax Credit. We had fun doing it. We headed off to Riverside Park for Annika's feeding and sat in the Enabling Garden. She enjoyed all the flowers and greenery. She was happy the whole time!

We packed up around 11am on Sunday and dropped off Austin's stuff at Pheonix's. We spent a bit of time downstairs with Pheonix and the kids while they kicked Sage's big yellow happy face ball around. (camera was already packed :( so I forgot to take pics.)

We have found a way home and it takes the same time or quicker as the 401 with better scenery. Take Hwy 7 thru Kitchener all the way to a little town called Shakespeare. Turn left at those lights and drive for about 1-3 minutes. Turn right onto Perth Road 33 to Stratford. It turns into Hwy 7 in Stratford. Take it west all the way to Highbury Rd. Turn right at Fanshawe Park Road. Turn left onto Adelaide and then left onto Kipps and we're home!

When we got home, we unpacked and relaxed. I slept for about 3.5 hours! Rochelle has a lot of energy! After we spent the evening just chilling. It was a great time!
