Just Us and the dogs

After we headed out of town on Tuesday, Shane and I had the very strange feeling. It was just us and the dogs now. For the last year, we haven't had much of 'Just Us'. It feels different. No one in the spare room where it has seen more guests and been home to more than we really thought was going to happen. Shane was certainly inspired and when we choose this two bedroom instead of one. I feel so happy that it has been well used.

Yesterday, we spent a couple hours at Fanshawe College. Shane got his new student card and text books. We spent time in the OSAP office. And in the disability office so that Shane's textbooks can be put into pdf so he can use them on his computer. We were pleasantly surprised to see that all of his books were actually at the bookstore so early.

Afterwards, we stopped by the grocers and loaded up on the fresh fruit and veggies this time of year offers. We got a few junkfood stuff too. But all in all, the food was wonderfully fresh. The rest of the day we were absolutely lazy. Shane was very uncomfortable as his sunburn was beginning to itch terribly. We stopped at Shopper's Drugmart on our way back from the school to pick up some antihistamine. The rest of the day, we just were as lazy as could be. It was nice. I did some reading. Watched Star Trek Voyageur on ProjectFreeTv.

We realized too that we have to post-pone our 72 hours kit trial trip. Heidi went into heat last Friday so we'll plan for it in a couple weeks. That gives me some time to get caught up on a few things around here too. Dusting, filing, cleaning the stove - yuck, reorganizing and stuff.
